There will not be a book sale in July. The next sale will be on August 1st.

Libraries Closed on the 4th of July

All libraries in the Tulare County Library system will be closed on Saturday, July 4th.

Visalia Summer Reading Program Schedule Change

The Rawhide Baseball Players are unable to come this Thursday, June 25th as scheduled. Therefore, we will be showing the movie Monsters, Inc. at 3PM!

Preschool Storytime loves fathers!

Preschoolers and parents can come to hear wonderful stories and participate in songs/fingerplays about fathers in honor of Father's Day!

Robin Fountain/Birdbath Re-dedication

Join us for the re-dedication of the Robin Fountain (Birdbath) on Saturday, June 13, 2009 at 9:00AM. The fountain, located at the east entrance of the library, was commissioned in 1943 and created by Tulare Country artist, Carroll Barnes. The fountain was originally dedicated in July of 1944 and was restored to its original condition in 2009.

Meet Local Valley Author, Nancy Tan

The Friends of the Tulare County Library are sponsoring a "Meet the Author" event with local author, Nancy Tan, at the Visalia Library. The public is invited to hear the award-winning author discuss her book, Quiet Mind, Healthy Body: The Art of Low Stress Living, on June 19th at 7:00PM. Friends of the Library Book Sale

The next Friends of the Library book sale will be held on June 6th, from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., on the north/east lawn. There will be many children's books for sale, priced at 6 for $1. See you there!
