Wednesday, February 2nd @ 10AM: Preschool Storytime!

Join us for stories, songs and fingerplays at our preschool story time every Wednesday @ 10AM. This week we celebrate Groundhog Day!

Tuesday, February 1st @ 10AM: Baby/Toddler Time!

Every Tuesday at 10AM, we will have a special time for babies (0-2) to play and interact with one another while building literacy skills!

First Tuesday Book Club, February 1

The "First Tuesday Book Club" will be meeting on February 1 at 6:30 pm in the blue meeting room. This month we will be reading Born on a Blue Day. For more information, please contact Mike Drake at 713-2704.

Mystery Readers Meeting, February 16

The next Mystery Readers' meeting will be held on February 16 at 6:30pm in the Visalia Library's upstairs "blue" meeting room. This month's theme is: Battle of the Sexes or Marriage: It's Murder. For ideas on which authors and titles to read, please see February's reading list on the Friends' web page.

Early Learning for Families (ELF) Club, February 4

The next ELF (Early Learning For Families) Club will be held on February 4. We will be reading Poems for the Very Young.

Community Picks Book Club, January 28

Independent Film Night, January 20th

The library will host a free showing of the independent film, Alamar, on January 20th at 6:30pm in the upstairs "blue" room. In this 73-minute Spanish film (with English subtitles) set in Mexico, Jorge is intent on teaching his 5-year-old son about their Mayan heritage.
