Origami is the art of paper folding which
is often associated with Japanese culture. The goal is to transform a flat
sheet square of paper into a finished sculpture through folding and sculpting
techniques. Traditional origami uses no methods other than folding. As a
result, no cutting, use of glue, or markings are allowed. Join Librarian
Jonathan Waltmire as he guides attendees through the process of transforming
paper into animals, shapes, and much more. No previous origami experience
required.
