Join us at the Visalia library on April 9th for an evening with award-winning local author, Ernest J. Finney. Finney's short fiction has received a number of awards, among them an O' Henry Award for "Peacocks." His two story-collections, Birds Landing and Flights in the Heavenlies, won California Book Awards. His newest book is Sequoia Gardens: California Stories.
The Friends’ Literary Baskets are back, and we have some fantastic choices for you this year. Tickets are just $1.00 each. To enter the drawing, simply fill out your tickets, be sure to mark which basket number you wish to win, and return the tickets with your check (made out to "Friends of the Library"), to the Visalia Library by April 1st.
