Help Someone Learn to Read!

Over a third of Tulare County residents lack basic literacy skills.  The Library Literacy Center works to reduce that number, but we need your help.  We offer free one-on-one tutoring and are looking for more volunteers to be tutors.
A new tutor training will be held on July 6, from noon until 4 pm at the Literacy Center, 417 N. Locust Street in Visalia.  Tutoring takes place in the Center or in the branch libraries throughout the county.
Please call (559) 713-2745 to sign up for the training.  Give someone else the benefit of your knowledge!
