Storytimes at the Visalia Library

The Visalia Library offers two Storytimes every week for children (and their grownups):

• Toddler Storytime is for children ages 0 to 2 on Tuesdays at 10 am. Storytime is followed by play time.
• KinderReady Storytime is for children ages 3 to 5 on Thursdays at 11 am. Storytime is followed by an activity.

 There are also two monthly events for children (and their grownups):

• Toddler Yoga Storytime is monthly on the second Wednesdays at 11 am. This class is for ages 18 mos to 5 years
• Hora de Cuentos Bilingüe is a bilingual storytime for children 3 to seven years old and their caregivers. Spanish learners welcome! Sessions are on Saturdays (1/5, 3/16, 4/13 and 5/11) at 11 am.

Storytime will be re-starting in September in the Visalia Branch!

 

Toddler Storytime (ages 0-2) will be on Tuesdays at 10 am

 

Preschool Storytime (ages 3-5) will be on Wednesday at 10 am

Tulare County Library Preschool Programs Back for Fall

After big brothers and sisters are back in school, wee ones ages three to six can enjoy their own "school" with Storytimes at the Tulare County Library branches!

Storytime at the Visalia branch resumes on September 2. Join us every Wednesday at 10 am in the Fall, Winter and Spring months. The Visalia library is located at 200 W. Oak Avenue in Visalia.

The days and times for the other Tulare County Library branches are posted on the library website at: www.tularecountylibrary.org.  Choose the "Kids &Teens" tab, then "Storytime" for countywide information on preschool children's programs. Please call the appropriate branch to find the start date for the branch library's Storytime.

Visalia Storytime Resumes on Wednesday, September 2

Storytime Resumes on Wednesday, September 2nd at 10 am! Perfect for ages 3 to 6!

Royalty Storytime Rescheduled

Miss Tulare County had an emergency and will not be attending Royalty Storytime next Wednesday, March 4. This event has been rescheduled for April.

We will still be having storytime at our regular time of 10:00am in the Children's Wing of the Visalia Branch Library on that day.

The Great Stuffed Animal Sleepover

Children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal, doll, or toy to the Visalia Branch Library for a special story time at night! After, they will leave their stuffed animal at the library for a fun-filled night of adventure (that the librarians will capture on camera).

Pick up your stuffed animal the next day and see what they did alone at the library!

Thursday, November 6th
Check-in begins at 6:30pm
Storytime at 7:00pm

Stuffed animals and photos available for pick-up on Friday, November 7th after 2:00pm

*For children ages 3+. Only one stuffed animal per child. Space is limited to the first 50 stuffed animals. Families are welcome to attend the story time even without a stuffed animal.
