Woodlake Branch Closes For Remodeling, August 8

Woodlake library patrons will be disappointed to hear the library will be closed beginning this Thursday, August 8*.  But wait, there’s a pleasant surprise in store for early September** when the library reopens.

During the closure, the Tulare County Library branch will be remodeled to enhance both patron comfort and staff efficiency.  The updated library look will feature a modern circulation desk, contemporary shelving and new paint and carpet.  The official reopening celebration will be announced when the upgrades near completion.

The Woodlake renovation is part of the Your Library in More Places program of the Tulare County Library Foundation.  Similar updates have already been made to the Visalia, Lindsay, Earlimart and Ivanhoe branches, with funds from the foundation.  Anyone wishing to donate to the ongoing Your Library in More Places project please contact Sheryll Strachan at 713-2709.

*The Woodlake book-drop will remain open. All item holds placed for delivery to Woodlake will be sent to Exeter during the remodeling.

**Tentative reopening date
