Celebrate National Library Week, April 13 - 19

 

Celebrate National Library Week by participating in the Visalia library's special activities and events honoring how libraries change lives for the better:


Children: 
  • Watch a movie Tuesday through Friday at 2:00pm and 4:00pm in the Children’s Area. 
  •  Participate in an evening storytime on Thursday at 6:30pm for families. (Children of all ages are welcome, not just pre-school.) The theme will be books and libraries.
Young Adults: 
  • Participate in "Operation Book Drop", where teens  drop books off on benches on Main Street
  • Watch Library Wars, the movie based on the Young Adult Manga book series
  • Tell everyone how libraries have changed your life by filling out a “Lives Change at Your Library" sign
Adults:
