March Crafts Show Signs of Spring at the Tulare County Library Branch Libraries

Children can celebrate different springtime activities this month including St. Patrick’s Day and the Easter Bunny at the library branches. Here are the crafts for each week:

March 15 through 18 – Paper Four Leaf Clover

March 22 through 25 – Paper Bunny Pops

March 29 through April 1 – Stained Glass Butterfly

Dr. Seuss Festivities at Visalia Branch Library, March 1 - 5

Celebrate Dr. Seuss all week long - March 1st to March 5th, 2016 - at the Visalia Branch Library!

The Dr. Seuss Photo Booth will have props for a Dr. Seuss-themed photo op! (Photo booth is open all week, but unavailable during programs and closes 30 minutes before the library closes!)

Martin Luther King Jr. Remembered in Tulare County Library Branch Crafts

As we enter into winter, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and his search for peace will be honored by children as part of the Tulare County Library Branch Crafts program during January. Weekly crafts are:

January 4 through 9 – Snowmen

January 11 through 16 – Penguin Sticks

January 18 through 23 – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Doves

January 25 through 30 – Paper Clip Ice Skates

Play Bingo for Books at the Visalia Branch, December 19

Children ages 3 to 12 can play a round of bingo for a chance to win a free book! Drop in anytime during the program to play. Other prizes available as well. Books provided by the Friends of the Tulare County Library.

Tulare County Library Branch Crafts Showcase Gifts and Cards for the Holidays

Children can be ‘Santa Helpers’ at the Tulare County Library branches in December!  Weekly crafts are:

December 7 through 12 – Gingerbread Man

December 14 through 23 – Santa’s Workshop: Gifts and Cards

December 28 through 31 – Confetti Poppers for New Year’s Eve

Visalia Branch Children's Events, November 2015

Are you looking for something fun to do with your wee ones this month? Check out our calendar below to see what's going on this November at the Visalia Branch! 

In addition to our regularly scheduled events such as Toddler Time and Storytime, we will be having special crafts the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving!

No registration is required for any of the programs, and all programs are free.

Please note that we will be closed on Wednesday, November 11 in observance of Veteran's Day, and on November 26 and November 27 for Thanksgiving.
