All Tulare County Library locations will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 for Thanksgiving.

The Visalia Branch Library will close at 6:00pm on Wednesday, November 25. 

Locations that are open on Saturdays will open at their normal time on Saturday, November 28.

When Leaves Fall and Thanks are Given -- It's November!

Tulare County Library branches feature autumn and Thanksgiving crafts for children to start the holiday season.  This month’s choices are:

November 2 through 7 – Fall Wreath

November 9 through 14 – Turkey Puppets

November 16 through 21 – Thanksgiving Card

November 23 through 25 – Coloring Pages

All Tulare County Library branches are closed Wednesday, November 11 for Veterans Day and Thursday and Friday, November 26-27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Craft sessions are available at the Alpaugh, Earlimart, Exeter, Ivanhoe, Lindsay, Orosi, Springville, Strathmore, Three Rivers, Tipton and Woodlake branch libraries.  Times vary with each location.

All Libraries Closed for Labor Day

Earlimart, Pixley, and Terra Bella Branch Libraries are closed for Labor Day on Monday, September 7.

All other branches are regularly closed on Mondays.

Library services on our website are available 24/7.

Strathmore Branch of Tulare County Library to Reopen

With the completion of its renovations, the Strathmore Branch Library will reopen on January 27. It will remain open until new shelving units, tables, and other equipment arrive. The branch will close again for installation of these furnishings, then reopen permanently.

The Strathmore Library Hours will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 am to 1 pm, and from 2 pm to 6 pm.  For more information, please call the Visalia Main Library Branch at (559) 713-2713.

In observance of Veterans Day, all library locations will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. The library will open at its normal time of 9:00am on Wednesday, November 12.
