Literacy Advocate Award Winner Announced

Heather Freitas, Self Sufficiency Counselor III for Health and Human Services Agency’s Visalia District Office, today received the Literacy Advocate award, given quarterly by the Literacy Center of the Tulare County Library. The honor was designed for HHSA counselors and specialists who have referred and encouraged their clients to participate in a joint program developed by HHSA and the Library Literacy Center.
